Hills of the South Bay (Short)

Distance: 27 miles and 1900 feet of elevation gain (mapping software)

All the routes are much the same today except the shorter ones cut off early and head back to the start. All are together for the first 18 miles when this short cuts off. The long and this medium continue together for some extra hills. When this short cuts off, it heads directly to the medium lunch and then follows the medium route on its direct return after lunch. There is no easy description of the route except to say it winds around a lot for all the hills. There are a lot of turns. Lunch is fairly late in the route, but there are numerous places to stop all along the way. On the profile you can see that this short skips the highest climbs done by the long and the medium, but it still a hilly route. Just take it one hill at a time and you can do this ride. On the map, the blue portion is the common route with the medium route (both before and after lunch) and the pink indicates where this short cuts the medium route short.
