Enjoy being a part of the excitement of the Grand Tour even if you're not riding. This is a good way for friends and family members of participating riders to enjoy the event. Even if you ARE riding, there are ways to help before and after the big day. And all volunteers are invited to the Grand Tour staff picnic to celebrate without working (see below).

Here are some ways you can help:

Organizing supplies to be delivered to the rest stops
Working at rest stops (hours vary)
Driving a SAG vehicle to help riders in distress
Registering riders before the ride and recording riders as they finish
Driving one of the supply trucks
Publicity

If you're not riding, or if you have a non-riding family member or friend who wants to share your Grand Tour experience, please consider joining our Volunteers.  Send an email to Pam Leven at grandtour@pobox.com and in the subject line write “Grand Tour Volunteer.”
