Overview of the Event and registration options for 2011. ( 2012 information is not yet available, but you can get a good idea of what it's like from last year's.)
Where to stay overnight. There are plenty of motels in Malibu and Santa Monica, altnough they tend to be pricey (or very pricey). There are also several in Agoura Hills, Calabasas and Westlake along the 101 freeway, about 7-10 miles from the GT start. You are advised to use a computer search, such as Orbitz, another travel search, or just plain Google "Motels near Malibu, CA". We can't suggest any camping options.
2011 Finisher's lists are still available:     Alphabetical.    Sorted by route

L.A. Wheelmen Grand Tour Training Rides.
Each spring, the club schedules a series of increasingly difficult Saturday training rides to prepare riders for the Grand Tour.Check the ride schedule starting late March or early April for descriptions and starting locations. If you do these rides faithfully, you should be able to ride the Grand Tour!
